Thomsen Hops
Thomsen Hops was formed in 2020 by Thomsen Farms, a 3rd generation family farm located in Tracy CA, part of the Central Valley. They saw an opportunity to grow hops providing the growing number of craft brewers in California the ability to source local ingredients. Thomsen Farms currently grows almonds for Blue Diamond Growers and tomatoes for Campbell’s Soup Company.
Thomsen Hops grows several hop varieties on 16 acres with the goal of expansion. The focus is not just to sell hops, but to grow and build connections with the brewer, whether it’s a row or a whole yard. With a custom built hop harvesting facility, Thomsen Hops offers wet hops, dried whole cones and pellets. Farming is truly a labor of love, if you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Until you plant hops!
